Why you think/Why you got banned: Griefing
Why you want to be unbanned: Because I did like this server, and all I did was grief once, it was fixed.
Why you should be unbanned: Because I love the server, and noticed there aren't many others like it; if I was unbanned, I would not interact with players at all -- to keep the game easily tolerated.

But you went WAY over the top with DoS. the decision would be alot easier if that hadnt of happened

Tough decision since you tried shutting this server down. If you would be accepted, you would be a citizen maybe even a guest and you would be watched carefully. It would take 2 times maybe even 3 times as long for you to get VIP again, I've last my trust in you, so it'll be verry hard for me to have your support.

i will consider this. however, the lava mountain was a huge pain in the ass and the DDoS was even worse. you have to understand that im a little skeptical as to whether you are just wanting to come back and actually play or just grief more because of what happened. ill talk to sirflapjack, penguwin, and Mr_Mr_Mr about what they think.

ok so it wasnt technically you who DDoS'd us but you two pretty much did it together. also what was your reason for making the lava mountain? i dont think that was necessary at all.

This is a strange situation. I think both sides are being misunderstood.

Nirvanaa and _Vengeance_:

Both of you seem to want to rejoin the server. The issue is that we cannot be sure if you seek to do so for an honest re-awakening or to ravage the server in retaliation for your bans.

The Admins and users:

I (and you) are aware that we seek only to play on this server in a manner such that everyone's wishes can be respected, yet some degree of order is maintained. We all want to have a pleasurable experience mining, farming, or whatever it is we do, and not have to worry incessantly about miscreants pillaging our hard-earned belongings.

At the same time, we may be misinterpreting _Vengeance_ and Nirvanaa. In the past, Vengeance has shown a strong commitment to this server and has certainly put in a large amount of effort in its promotion and security. This is a fact which I once fully believed, yet have recently come to doubt. The doubt stems from the accusations of griefing and dishonesty.



I thus have a proposition for the consideration of the entire community, including the alleged perpetrators of the griefing on ThatSMPServer.
I shall outline this proposition presently:

I don't really care about your technical shit Smarty, I just want to play.. I worked my arse off the my stuff.

My proposition is thus:

- Nirvanaa and _Vengeance_ are to be re-instated as CITIZENS of the server.
- They will be disallowed promotion for at least 30 days, unless an administrator declares otherwise.
- They will be subject to daily inventory and chest checks by moderators or admins
- They are disallowed from any placement of water and lava through buckets
- They are to be allowed only a 10x10 protected area for their belongings
- Finally, they are to show courtesy and geniality to ALL members of the server, and must comply with ALL orders from moderators and administrators. Also, "pointing fingers" at trusted ranks is banned.
- If any disruptions or violations of the above rules, as well as the general rules, occur, they will be banned permanently


While these are strict, they are necessary to ensure the welfare of the server. If your interest in being part of this community is great enough to accept these conditions, please do so. Otherwise, you may want to seek a server more suited to your style of play.

I liked you Vengeance, I gave you all my gold. I thought you were a friend. Sure, you acted a bit arrogant at times, but I overlooked that. I'm putting forth my best effort to allow you a chance to come back to the server. Heck, I'd even let you live with me again after a bit.
